Bhubaneswar, November 27: Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik expressed immense pride in President Droupadi Murmu’s extraordinary journey, stating, “We are all proud that the daughter of the land is sitting in the highest position of the country.” Speaking in the Odisha Assembly, Patnaik praised the occasion as an honor to salute the President's accomplishments.

He reflected on Murmu’s 25-year political career, which began in the Odisha Assembly, and emphasized her monumental achievement in becoming the President of India, bringing glory to the state.

Patnaik also highlighted Odisha’s significant progress in various sectors, including disaster management, women’s empowerment, infrastructure development, healthcare reforms, and climate-resilient industrial growth.

Patnaik celebrated Odisha's abundant natural resources and diverse wildlife, underscoring the state's contribution to India’s unity in diversity.
