New Delhi, May 16: With an aim to take diplomatic action against Pakistan, a delegation of MPs from all parties will begin an international outreach program to brief foreign governments about the recent conflict and India's stance on the issue.

According to sources, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju is coordinating the foreign tour, which is expected to start after May 22, and the invitations have already been sent to the MPs.

Senior MPs have been chosen to lead these teams, with most of the responsibility given to MPs from the NDA.

Each delegation will have about five to six MPs, who will visit various countries like the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates and brief the governments.

Sources say the central government is sending MP delegations from all parties to other countries to send a strong message to the world about India-Pakistan relations.

The government hopes this step will create a major diplomatic and political impact against Pakistan on international platforms.

It is worth mentioning that India and Pakistan recently faced a tense military standoff after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, carried out by militants based in Pakistan, in which 26 civilians were killed.

In response, India launched 'Operation Sindoor', striking terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Pakistan answered with drone attacks on Indian cities and military sites, leading to four days of high tension and a near war-like situation.

On May 10, both countries agreed to reduce tensions after talks between their top military officials.
