Dhenkanal: Youth’s beheaded body recovered from village street

Dhenkanal, Jan 8: A youth’s beheaded body has been recovered from the street of Namichira village in the Dhenkanal district. The deceased has been identified as Biju Behera, a native of Kankadahada. Sources said Biju had left home in the evening for guarding his paddy field. Meanwhile, unidentified miscreants slit his throat with sharp weapons. Later, locals spotted his beheaded body, lying on the village street in a pool of blood. Being informed, police seized the body from the spot and initiated legal formalities. Subsequently, it was sent for an autopsy. A murder case has been registered in this connection. The investigation is on to reach at the culprit, said police.
