Angul, May 5: Body of woman who was missing since 26th April was recovered from a paddy field near Bhogaberini Kendupalli village under Banrapala police limits in Odisha’s Angul district on Monday.
According to the information, The woman, a resident of Lodhajhari village under Kaniha blockin the ditrict had disappeared on April 26 after leaving her home to catch a train at Talcher Road railway station. Her family reported her missing to the Banarpal police station when they couldn't reach her—her phone was switched off and their own search efforts were unsuccessful.
Based on the complaint, police started investigation and after a frantic search operation, the decomposed body of the woman recovered from a paddy field. Exact reason of her death is yet to be ascertained.
