Bhubaneswar, Oct 21: The annual Terracotta Exhibition 'Mruttika-2024' will be organized at IDCO exhibition ground here from 25th to 30th October.

In view of the Diwali festival, earlier the exhibition was scheduled to be held from 22nd to 29th October. But due to heavy rain and possible formation of cyclone, it has been decided that the terracotta exhibition will start from 25th October instead of 22nd October, said an official on Monday.

A Low Pressure Area over the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 23, the India Meteorological Department said. The cyclonic disturbance may affect the Odisha-West Bengal coasts.

According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is expected to lash Odisha's coastline region between October 23 and October 25.
