Cuttack, March 9: The recently launched Cuttack One App has failed to connect denizens. The App was made available on Goole Play Store on February 26. Only 11 persons have downloaded the App.
The newly appointed Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) commissioner Siddharth Shankar Swain launched the Cuttack One App to help residents in accessing civic services fast and without hassles.
An Uttar Pradesh based private organisation has been entrusted for managing the mobile application. However, the App is not functioning properly. Besides, the special cell created for managing the App has remained closed.
We are planning for promotion of the Cuttack One App so that people will know about the mobile application and use it, said CMC assistant commissioner Trinath Behera.
The main civic services which the CMC offers through the Cuttack One App are complaint redressal, procuring of certificates and licences, tax payment, booking of Kalyan Mandap and others like clearing garbage and cleaning up drains.
Besides, the civic body’s mobile application provides information related to the Millennium City such as tourist spots, communication, emergency services and precautionary measures.
