Kendrapara, June 16: In a shocking incident reported from Kolidihi panchayat under Aali block of Kendrapara district, a woman was reportedly dragged away by a crocodile while bathing in a creek connected to the Kharasrota River.

The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Kajal Mohanty, wife of Kailash Mohanty, a resident of Tauladihi village. According to sources, Kajal had gone to the creek near her village earlier in the day for bathing. However, when she did not return home for an extended period, her family members launched a search operation and reached the spot.
