Delhi, May 23:A two-member delegation of the Communist Party of India (CPI), led by General Secretary D. Raja and consisting of National Secretary and Head of the CPI International Department Rama Krushna Panda, will visit Moscow, Russia, from 23–27 May 2026 to participate in the International Anti-Terrorist Forum being organised in Moscow.
The Forum will deliberate on the theme “The Struggle Against International Terrorism, Arbitrariness and Aggression. For Peace and Security” and will bring together progressive, Left and anti-imperialist forces from across the world.
Comrade D. Raja will address the first session on “Imperialism and International Terrorism in the 21st Century: Causes, Goals, Methods”, while Comrade Rama Krushna Panda will participate in and address the second session on “Solidarity in the Struggle Against International Terrorism and its Manifestations: The Role of the Progressive Forces of the Left”.
During the visit, the CPI delegation will interact with progressive leaders, communist and workers’ parties, peace activists and anti-imperialist forces from different countries. The delegation will also hold bilateral discussions with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on issues of mutual concern, international developments, peace, democracy and strengthening solidarity among progressive forces globally.
The CPI reiterates its firm commitment to the struggle against terrorism, imperialist aggression, war and divisive politics, and calls for greater international unity in defence of peace, sovereignty and peoples’ rights.
