Bhubaneswar, July 1: On the occasion of National Postal Worker Day, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi paid tribute to postal workers across the country, lauding their unwavering dedication and selfless service in connecting people and delivering essential services.

"On National Postal Worker Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to every postal worker for their unwavering dedication and selfless service," the Chief Minister said in a social media post.

Highlighting the vital role played by postal workers, Majhi said they have consistently bridged the gap between people, especially by connecting remote villages and ensuring essential services reach every doorstep. Their commitment, he noted, continues to strengthen the bond between citizens and the nation.

Expressing appreciation for their tireless efforts, the Chief Minister wished all postal workers good health, happiness, and continued success in serving the country.

National Postal Worker Day is observed every year on July 1 to recognize the invaluable contribution of postal workers who ensure the seamless delivery of letters, parcels, government communications, financial services, and essential goods across the country. The day honours their dedication, resilience, and commitment, particularly in reaching remote and underserved areas where postal services remain a vital lifeline. It also serves as an occasion to acknowledge the crucial role postal employees play in connecting communities, supporting businesses, and strengthening the nation's communication network.
