CM Majhi reviews final preparations for Odisha govt's first anniversary event

Bhubaneswar, June 19: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday reviewed the final preparations at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar, ahead of the state government’s first anniversary celebration.
The high-profile event, scheduled to mark one year of the BJP-led government in Odisha, will see the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest.
CM Majhi inspected the entire venue and directed officials to ensure flawless execution of the arrangements, particularly in view of the Prime Minister’s visit. He instructed that all preparatory work be completed without delay by this evening.
Accompanying the Chief Minister during the inspection were Public Works and Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, BJP State President Manmohan Samal, State In-Charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, and Co-In-Charge Lata Usendi.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja and Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) Hemant Sharma provided a detailed briefing on the ongoing arrangements.
Also present were CM’s Advisor Prakash Mishra, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Satyabrata Sahu, DGP Y.B. Khurania, Principal Secretary (Works) Sanjay Kumar Singh, and other senior officials involved in the preparations.
