CM Majhi pays courtesy call on President Droupadi Murmu, shares vision for ‘Samruddha Odisha’

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar, Sept 5: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Thursday paid a courtesy call on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi and discussed the ongoing development projects and shared the state government’s broader vision for building a ‘Samruddha Odisha’.

He later shared on social media that the meeting with the President was cordial and centered around the state's development and future plans.

Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, CM Majhi wrote, “I had the privilege of paying a courtesy call on Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji in New Delhi. On this occasion, we discussed Odisha’s development projects and our vision for building a Samruddha Odisha.”

CM Mohan Majhi highlighted that the meeting underscored the Odisha government's dedication to aligning with national priorities while driving the state's development forward.

During his visit to New Delhi, CM Mohan Majhi also paid courtesy calls on several Union Ministers, including Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Environment and Forest Minister Bhupender Yadav. The discussions focused on key developmental issues crucial to Odisha’s future growth and strategic planning.
