Aska, April 9: In an unprecedented incident, two Danda Parties reportedly engaged in a fierce clash in Aska area in the Ganjam district on Thursday.

The incident became the talk of the town today when the scene went viral on Social media creating a buzz across the district.

As the viral video features, members of both Danda Parties fought among them making the Sundarapali village street a battle field.

According to some locals’ accounts, the featured fight took place in the Sundarapali village under the Dharakote Police limit yesterday reportedly between Sanapati Danda Nacha Party of Hinjilicut and Goudapati Danda Nacha group belonging to Purusottam village.

Though no complaint has been lodged with police in this connection so far, the featured video suggests that several members from both the troupes might have sustained grievous injuries and needed hospitalization.
