CHSE Odisha announces Plus Two exam results 2025 with 82.77% pass rate

Bhubaneswar, May 21: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, announced the results of the Class 12 (Plus Two) examinations for 2025 on Wednesday. The results were declared for all four major streams: Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational.

School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond officially released the results during a press conference at the CHSE headquarters in Bhubaneswar.

This year, a total of 3.91 lakh students appeared for the Plus Two exams across the state. Of them, 3.16 lakh students successfully cleared the examinations, bringing the overall pass percentage to 82.77%.

While 87.50 percent students passed in Science stream, pass percentage in Arts stream is 80.51 and Commerce recorded 83.20 percent.

As many as 2.43 lakh students appeared the Plus II examinations in the Arts stream. Of them, 1.96 lakh (80.51 per cent) have passed the exams.   

Similarly, altogether 1.13 lakh students appeared the exams in Science stream and 99,724 (87.50) have been declared as successful.   

A total of 25,108 students appeared the examinations in Commerce stream and 20,892 among them have been declared as successful. 

A total of 5,572 students appeared the exams in Vocational Studies this year. Of them, 3,375 (60.57 per cent) have cleared the tests.

The annual Plus Two examinations concluded on March 27, 2025, and were held at 1,276 examination centres throughout Odisha. Students from all four streams – Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational Studies – took part in the exams.

Governor of Odisha, Prof. Ganeshi Lal, congratulated the successful candidates and lauded the efforts of teachers and parents in guiding students through their academic journey. “My heartfelt congratulations to all students who have cleared the CHSE Odisha Class 12 examinations,” the Governor stated. “I commend the unwavering support of teachers and parents and wish all students a future filled with wisdom, success, and resilience.”
