Bhubaneswar, November 10: The Chilika Shelduck International Folk Festival 2024 has kicked off in Odisha's Khordha district, attracting art enthusiasts and tourists to a vibrant display of Asian cultural heritage.
Hosted at the Purvasha Folk and Tribal Art Museum, the festival celebrates Odisha's rich traditions through a series of live performances, interactive cultural exchanges, and culinary experiences, all set against the stunning backdrop of Chilika Lake.
With the theme “Rhythms of Asia: A Fusion of Beats,” the festival highlights percussion artistry and includes international performers from Vietnam, South Korea, and India.
In his address, Odisha Minister and Chilika MLA Prithviraj Harichandan expressed pride in the festival, stating that the state government is committed to preserving and promoting Odisha's cultural legacy.
Visitors can enjoy a blend of traditional dance, music, and a unique showcase of Chilika-inspired cuisine, adding a local culinary twist to this colorful event that concludes on November 13.
