Cuttack, June 9: A case of alleged medical negligence at a private nursing home in Ranihat, Cuttack, has prompted the district health department to launch an investigation. A woman, Diptimayee Barik—wife of a jawan—underwent a surgery for medical termination of pregnancy during which her rectum was mistakenly cut, leading to serious complications.
