Puri, May 23: Popular Bollywood singer and rapper Mika Singh visited the famed Jagannath Temple in Puri on Friday afternoon to offer prayers to Lord Jagannath.
Expressing his joy, Mika said he feels truly blessed to visit Puri for the second consecutive time, attributing this opportunity to the grace of Lord Jagannath.
The singer mentioned that he came to Odisha at the invitation of a friend but added that he believes it was ultimately a divine call that brought him back to the sacred temple town. Mika was accompanied by a Sikh religious leader during his visit. Upon arriving at the temple, he participated in rituals at the Singhadwara and then proceeded for darshan of the deities, offering prayers and seeking blessings from the holy Trinity.
Mika further shared his deep devotion toward Lord Jagannath, expressing a desire to sing devotional bhajans dedicated to the deity in the future if he continues to receive divine blessings.
His visit attracted the attention of devotees and fans near the temple, adding a touch of celebrity charm to the spiritual atmosphere of the city.
“I feel fortunate to receive the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath. Every visit here grants me a beautiful darshan of the Lord. Very soon, I will sing a bhajan dedicated to Him,” Mika said.
