Bhubaneswar, Oct 16: The Sanasuara Puruna Durga Puja Committee in Odisha’s Jajpur district on Thursday felicitated veteran Odia Actor & Director Prashanta Nanda for his lifetime achievements and significant contribution to Odia culture.
The token of recognition, contributed by Chittaranjan Mishra, a coveted member of the antique Sanasuara Durga Puja Committee that dates back over a century, was handed over to Nanda at his Bhubaneswar residence.
A delegation comprising producer of the ‘Magana Oligi’, a popular standup comedy show based on constructive criticism, aired by the News7, Samarendra Baliarasing, current affairs head, News7 Bijay Kumar Mohanty and television & cinematography editor Koushik Nath, presented the memento and certificate to Nanda.
During the short interaction with the team, veteran actor Nanda shared his vast experience relating to Odia Film Industries and polity. Meanwhile, he underlined that well-focused aim, determination, patience, perseverance and indomitable commitment are the vital keys that pave someone’s way to success.
