Bhubaneswar, Aug 22: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) was able to let out only 18 shops of the Unit - IV market complex during its auction in May.
The civic body is now making a fresh attempt to e-auction the remaining 94 shops out of 112 at the complex.
The BMC had executed the Unit - IV market complex, one of the oldest such projects the civic body had executed in public-private-partnership mode.
Out of the remaining 94 number of assets of the complex, 46 shops are on the ground floor, 29 on the first floor and six each on the second, third and fourth floors and another one left in the basement to be used as warehouse, said an official.
Notably, the market complex was taken up by the BMC in 1999 in PPP mode.
