Bhubaneswar, May 9: With the general and assembly elections looming just days away, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has orchestrated a spectacle of strategic maneuvers, unleashing a campaign blitzkrieg that reverberates from the streets of Bhubaneswar to the remote corners of Nabarangpur.

As national leaders descend upon the state with fervor and purpose, the stage is set for a riveting saga of political upheaval and transformation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming roadshow from Master Canteen Square to Vani Vihar Square in Bhubaneswar on May 10 signifies a pivotal moment in the BJP's campaign strategy.

Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi's call for city denizens to actively participate in the event underscores the significance of this move.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold roadshow from State party office to Vani Vihar in Bhubaneswar on May 10 (8 PM), informed Sarangi.

Joining the Prime Minister in the campaign trail is Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Deo Sai, who addressed public meetings in Nabarangpur and Koraput, while Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma attended rallies in Malkangiri, Chitrakonda, and Khallikote, emphasizing the BJP's commitment to addressing youth unemployment and leaks in exam question papers.

“Youths are unable to get jobs in Odisha, exam question papers are also getting leaked... If BJP government is  formed, we will give jobs to 3 lakh youths on the basis of merit,” said the Assam CM while addressing a rally.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's rally in Krushna Prasad of Puri district on May 9 adds to the momentum, while Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's recent engagements in Rayagada and Bhawanipatna underscore the party's concerted efforts in the region.

The inclusion of actress-turned-politician Hema Malini in the campaign further amplifies the BJP's outreach, with her anticipated presence in Berhampur on May 9 set to energize supporters.

Looking ahead, Prime Minister Modi is slated to address public rallies in Kandhamal, Bargarh, and Balangir on May 11, reinforcing the party's commitment to securing victory in Odisha. His recent mega rally in Berhampur on May 6, where he boldly declared the BJP's imminent government formation in the state, set the stage for the forthcoming polls.

This concerted effort by the BJP is not merely about electoral victory but also about addressing critical issues such as lack of development and preserving Odia Asmita (Odia Pride). National leaders have skillfully woven these themes into their campaign rhetoric, subtly challenging opponents while resonating with the aspirations of the electorate.

The BJP's election strategy in Odisha has been meticulously crafted, with key events strategically timed to maximize impact. From Union Minister Amit Shah's campaign kickoff on April 25 to BJP national president J P Nadda's Vijay Sankalp Samavesh at Ambapua near Berhampur on April 28, each event has served to galvanize party cadres and supporters alike.

With a formidable lineup of national leaders and a meticulously crafted campaign strategy, the BJP aimed to make significant gains in the state elections.

As the countdown to polling day begins, all eyes are on Odisha, where the BJP's relentless campaign blitzkrieg is poised to redefine the political landscape and pave the way for a new era of governance in the state.

Odisha will go to polls on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1. On May 13, the voters will cast their votes in Berhampur, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Koraput parliamentary constituencies and the assembly segments coming under the Lok Sabha seats.
