Bhubaneswar, May 22, 2026: Bhubaneswar’s Mallick Complex Association (MCWA) of Jagamara has emerged as a shining example of community service and social harmony in Odisha’s capital city through its active involvement in cultural, social, and developmental activities.

The association has been playing a vital role in strengthening community bonding by encouraging residents to participate in various social and cultural initiatives throughout the year. Members of the association have been actively organizing major Odia festivals and community events, fostering unity and fellowship among residents.

One of the major highlights of the association’s activities is its wholehearted participation in the world-famous nine-day Shree Rath Yatra celebrations in the area, which members observe with devotion and enthusiasm every year.

The Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the Mallick Complex Welfare Association was successfully held on May 22 at Jagamara. During the meeting, members discussed preparations and future plans to make the upcoming Rath Yatra celebrations in the Gandamunda area a grand success.

Association Secretary Dilip Kumar Jena presented the annual report and highlighted the key achievements and activities undertaken during the 2025–26 session. Treasurer Nirakar Kabi presented the financial report, which was approved unanimously by the members present.

The gathering appreciated the dedication and tireless efforts of senior members and frontline leaders for their continuous contribution to the growth and success of the organization.

The newly elected executive committee members, along with advisors and the auditor for the 2026–27 session, also took oath during the meeting. The committee includes Ramesh Chandra Padhy, Sarat Chandra Sahoo, Ashok Kumar Dash, Umesh Chandra Debata, Prasanna Kumar Dash, Nakula Charan Mallick, Sanjib Uttarkabat, Debaranjan Mohanty, Gopinath Biswal, Haribandhu Panda, Bishnu Mohan Pradhan, Prashant Kumar Panda, and Binay Kumar Das.

Addressing the members, Association President Rama Narayan Sar expressed gratitude for the active cooperation of all members and reaffirmed the association’s commitment towards social responsibility, collective development, and community welfare.

In a significant step towards infrastructure development, a Road Development Committee was also formed under the chairmanship of Engineer K.C. Sahoo. Other members of the committee include Prashant Kumar Patra, Subash Chandra Mishra, Abhay Kumar Nayak, Bibhudatta Mohanty, and Nirmal Chandra Mohanty.

Among those present at the meeting were Vice Presidents Dillip Kumar Mohapatra and Rama Chandra Sahoo, along with Joint Secretaries Saroj Kumar Nanda and Partha Sarathi Das.
