Bhubaneswar, June 16: A series of accidents occurred near the potato storage warehouse in Bhubaneswar's Patrapada area on Sunday night, when four trucks collided with each other. As a result, three individuals have been critically injured.
Reports suggest that the trucks were attempting to overtake one another, and some drivers may have been under the influence of alcohol. The collision took place late on Sunday night, causing one truck to ram into another, which then led to a chain reaction, with other trucks involved in the pileup.
The trucks were stranded for nearly 1.5 hours following the crash.
Khandagiri Police, with the help of locals, quickly transported the injured victims to AIIMS hospital for treatment.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the accident.
