Bhubaneswar, March 6: Extensive security arrangements were implemented for Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Paradeep.
Dr. Satyjit Naik, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Central Range, Cuttack, along with the Superintendent of Police, the District Collector of Jagatsinghpur, and other local administrative officials, formally welcomed Shah to the port town.
Stringent security protocols were enforced, especially during the inauguration of the Sulphuric Acid Plant at IFFCO Paradeep, where the Home Minister addressed a large gathering. The measures included thorough anti-sabotage checks, access control, and mandatory frisking of individuals, ensuring tight crowd management in and around Paradeep.
Authorities also prioritized maintaining smooth traffic flow with well-planned convoy arrangements and route clearances for Shah’s visit.
The visit concluded peacefully, confirmed by Dr. Satyjit Naik, IGP.
