Bhubaneswar, Oct 20: A local court in Bhubaneswar on Friday awarded life imprisonment to three persons in the Baramunda triple murder case, nearly 27 years after the crime incident.
Bhubaneswar ADJ Court-II awarded life imprisonment to three persons Rudra, Jitu and Chitta in the triple murder case on the basis of the statements of the witnesses.
The trio had brutally murdered Biswajit Nayak, Dilip Ray and Sarada Rath on 11 July, 1996 over past enmity.
The fourth accused in the case died.
