Cuttack, Sept 5: The renowned Bali Yatra festival in Cuttack is set to commence on November 15 this year. District Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde announced that the duration of the festival will be determined in an upcoming state-level meeting.
Shinde highlighted that this year’s Bali Yatra will be streamlined through a single-window system to ensure efficient stall allocation for the participating traders in the grand commercial and cultural event.
Plans are underway to allocate additional space and improve traffic management to ease parking challenges. A green corridor will be established to facilitate smooth passage for ambulances and VIPs. In response to expected large crowds, extra toilets will also be provided.
Today's meeting focused on expanding the cultural impact of Cuttack’s Bali Yatra on an international scale.
