Bhubaneswar, Sept 29: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated Team India on their emphatic victory against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final.
He remarked that once again, the Men in Blue have proudly lifted the coveted trophy just ahead of the festive season, bringing joy and pride to the nation.
Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, CM Majhi shared a poster of the players with the trophy and wrote, “Congratulations to Team India for an emphatic win in the T20 #AsiaCup2025. Yet again our Men in Blue shake hands with the coveted trophy right before the festive season starts.”
It is worth noting that India secured their ninth Asia Cup title with a thrilling five-wicket victory over Pakistan in a nail-biting final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Chasing a target of 147 runs, the Men in Blue delivered a composed performance, with Tilak Varma emerging as the standout player. Varma anchored the innings with an unbeaten 69 off 53 balls, smashing three fours and four sixes, while building crucial partnerships with Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube.
The triumph marked a fitting conclusion to India’s dominant campaign, as they remained unbeaten against Pakistan throughout the Asia Cup 2025.
