Angul, april 10: In a rare and startling incident, an elder brother brought a live snake in a bottle to the district headquarters hospital after it bit his younger brother.

The incident was reported from the Hemsurapada area in Angul, where the two brothers from Kolkata were staying in a rented house and working in different places. On Thursday, the younger brother was bitten by a spotted snake while having tea.

Panic-stricken, the elder brother immediately rushed him to the Angul Medical for treatment. In an unusual move, he also managed to catch the snake and carried it along in a bottle to the hospital, claiming it was the one that bit his brother.

The injured youth is currently undergoing treatment, and his condition is being monitored by doctors.
