Jajpur, March 12: Rabindra Narayan Behera, BJP Member of Parliament from Jajpur, has been honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Golden Award for his notable contribution to parliamentary culture and the promotion of tourism.

The award was presented at a grand ceremony held in New Delhi on Tuesday. The event was attended by several prominent dignitaries, including former Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi and senior BJP leader and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Jagdambika Pal. A number of Members of Parliament, legislators and personalities from the film industry were also present on the occasion.

The honour was conferred by the Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films Organization, which recognises the contributions of Union ministers and MPs in parliamentary activities.

Speaking to the media after receiving the award, Behera said the recognition would motivate him to work more actively and contribute further to parliamentary affairs.
