Delhi, June 17: Amid the probe into the Ahmedabad Plane Crash, the Aviation Watchdog, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), summoned the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air India on Tuesday.
The DGCA has also issued summons to some higher officials of the Air India Express, to bring them into the ambit of investigation regarding the tragic plane crash that claimed at least 270 lives on June 12.
According to sources, a key meeting will be held with the Air India & Air India Express authorities, on the fateful incident and the security protocols of their flights.
According to reprt, the virtual meeting with airline officials will be chaired by DGCA chief Faiz Ahmed Kidwai.
Worth mentioning, the DGCA has taken a serious note on the tragic crash of the Air India's Boeing Dreamliner flight in Ahmedabad on Thursday.Following this, the Civil Aviation watchdog has also warned the Air India to intensify its comprehensive inspection of all flights and airbuses.
