According to a statement from Air India, a dedicated passenger helpline has been activated soon after the plane crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
Those seeking information can contact the emergency hotline at 1800 5691 444, the Air India reported.
Sharing an update on social media platform X, the Air India confirmed that injured passengers are being transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The Air India stated that it is fully cooperating with authorities investigating the incident. The airline also assured that regular updates will be provided through its official handle on X and its website.
It also issued a helpline number 020 7008 5000 for British nationals who require consular assistance or have concerns about friends or family.
Minsitry of Civil Aviation has also activated an Operational Control Room to coordinate all details related to the crash.

Ahmedabad City Police also issued emergency number for police emergency services and information regarding the crash. The information can be obtained by calling 07925620359.
