Cuttack, June 7: In a moving display of compassion and humanity, Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra came to the aid of a family involved in a tragic road accident near Telengapentha earlier today.
The victims—a family of four including Ananta Kumar Sahu, his wife, and their two children—were severely injured in the mishap. By chance, Dr. Mahapatra was passing through the area when he witnessed the distressing scene. Without hesitation, he halted his convoy and took immediate charge of the situation.
Demonstrating decisive leadership and concern, the Minister arranged for one of his escort vehicles to transport the injured family to the nearest hospital. He also issued prompt instructions to both accompanying officials and hospital staff to ensure the victims received urgent and adequate medical care.
Dr. Mahapatra’s swift response not only helped save lives but also served as a powerful reminder of the values of empathy and public duty in leadership.
