Bhubaneswar, Nov, 19: BJP has suffered a setback in the Patna constituency of Keonjhar district. Bhavani Shankar Nayak, BJP MLA candidate of 2014 and 2019, has joined the Biju Janata Dal along with hundreds of BJP workers and supporters at the BJD headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
After joining BJD, Bhabani said that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's people-oriented activities and policies have attracted him to BJD.
A joining function was organized at Shankh Bhavan. In the presence of Rajya Sabha MP Manas Mangaraj, Bhabani Nayak along with hundreds of BJP workers joined the BJD.
BJD welcomed the team of Bhabani Nayak. Rajya Sabha MP Mangaraj inducted the BJP workers into the Biju Janata Dal. With the involvement of these workers, party organization will be further strengthened in the Patna constituency, said Mangraj.
