Boudh, Sept 15: In a tragic incident, an elderly woman was electrocuted after coming in contact with a live wire in Harbhanga Block of Odisha’s Boudh district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Khira Behera (60) and the incident has been reported from Koilisuta village in Ramagarh panchayat.

As per reports, Behera was cleaning her house when she came in contact with an electric wire and suffered a powerful electric shock. Thereafter, his family members quickly rushed him to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Unfortunately, by the time they reached the medical facility, Behera had already succumbed to his injuries.

Upon getting the information, police arrived at the hospital and seized the body for post-mortem.

A pal of gloom descended over the village following the tragic incident.
