​​​​​​​Keonjhar, Jan 15: “In no way I am indulged in antiparty activities”, said Champua MLA Sanatan Mahakud on Thursday, following his suspension from Biju Janata Dal (BJD).

Responding to media persons this evening Mahakud said, he has never done anything wrong that would have harmed the BJD organization.

“I came to know about the suspension from the news. However, I have not acknowledged any formal correspondence from the BJD office so far regarding the action, that Naveen initiated against me”, said Mahakud.

During his interaction with pressers, Mahakud said, “Naveen should have summoned me before my suspension, in case I committed something wrong. I would have been righteously deposed before him to answer.”

On asked if he would yet move the BJD Supremo in this connection, Mahakud said that he will not meet BJD President Naveen Patnaik over the issue, as he was never summoned to put forth his side, before putting him under suspension.
