Subarnapur, Feb 7: Rampur police on Saturday seized 9,000 bottles of cough syrup from two vehicles on the Sahajbahal road under Rampur police station limits in Subarnapur district.
The seizure was made from a Bolero pickup vehicle and a car. Police also arrested one person in connection with the illegal transportation of the cough syrup.
The estimated value of the seized contraband is around ₹9 lakh. Police have taken the accused into custody and launched a detailed investigation to ascertain the source and intended destination of the consignment.
