G. Udayagiri, Jul 25: The 61st Convocation Parade and Graduation Ceremony of the Forest Guard Training Centre at G. Udayagiri was held with great enthusiasm, marking the successful completion of training for a new batch of forest personnel. The event celebrated the graduation of 42 Forest Rangers who underwent rigorous professional training at the institute.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Conservator of Forests T.M. Ashok Kumar as the Chief Guest. Among the distinguished guests were Phulbani Divisional Forest Officer Pratap Kotapalli and Baliguda Divisional Forest Officer Ghanshyam Mohanty, who congratulated the graduating trainees and encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism in their careers.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasized that the knowledge and skills acquired during training should be effectively utilized in the field. They noted that dedicated service by the graduates would not only enhance the reputation of the Forest Department and the training institution but also uphold the dignity of the profession. They urged the newly inducted Forest Rangers to perform their duties with integrity, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility, considering the vital role they play in protecting forests and serving society.

The programme was presided over by Deputy Conservator of Forests Ashish Kumar Behera. During the ceremony, 42 Forest Rangers representing 29 zones across Odisha were awarded certificates upon successfully completing their training, formally marking the beginning of their professional journey in the State Forest Department.
