Keonjhar, Oct 14: At least 24 inmates of Anwesha govt. Hostel near DD college in Keonjhar were admitted to hospital after they fell ill at school.

According to the sources, the students had gone to school after having rice and dalma at the hostel. However, during the prayer class, they complained of stomach aches, fever and vomiting. Following that, they were admitted to hospital.

“We came to know about the incident from the school principal that a total of 24 students were admitted. However, out of them six have been discharged after primary treatment. Others are under treatment. Their condition is stable now”, said District Welfare officer Prabir Deo.
