India enters Asia Cup final after crushing Sri Lanka today.

India has officially punched its ticket to theAsia Cup 2025final following a clinical performance against Sri Lanka on Friday. Despite a rain-interrupted start in Dubai, the Indian colts displayed nerves of steel to register a thumping eight-wicket victory. The win now sets the stage for a mouth-watering "Mother of all Finals" against arch-rivals Pakistan this Sunday.

Rain and a wet outfield at the ICC Academy Ground initially threatened to play spoilsport, forcing officials to reduce the game to a 20-overs-per-side contest. After winning the toss and opting to bowl, the Indian attack led by Kishan Singh and Deepesh Devendran kept the pressure high. Sri Lanka found themselves in deep trouble at 84/6 before a late surge from Chamika Heenatigala and Sethmika Seneviratne pushed their total to 138/8.

Chasing a target of 139, India faced an early scare as openers Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi were dismissed cheaply by Rasith Nimsara. However, the game shifted dramatically whenVihaan MalhotraandAaron Georgetook charge. The duo forged a spectacular unbeaten 114-run partnership that took the game away from the Lankans.

Vihaan Malhotra, recently picked by RCB in the IPL auction, showed exactly why he is highly rated, smashing a brisk 61* off just 45 balls. At the other end, Aaron George provided the perfect anchor, finishing with a classy 58* off 49 deliveries. Their calculated aggression ensured India reached the target with two overs to spare.

This victory marks India's eighth appearance in the U19 Asia Cup final. With Pakistan defeating Bangladesh in the other semi-final, cricket fans are bracing for a high-intensity title clash on December 21. India previously defeated Pakistan in the group stages and will look to maintain that momentum to lift the trophy once again.
