Principal of Hi-Tech college of Physiotherapy arrested for duping Rs 10 lakh

Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: Khandagiri police today arrested the Principal of Hi-Tech college of Physiotherapy for allegedly cheating Rs 10 lakh to an aspirant. Police said that the accused identified as Prem Ranjan Ojha had taken Rs 10 lakh from one Prajna Prakash Das for admitting him to the institute. “The accused had taken the money in 2017 but later failed to get the complainant from admission in the institute. Despite his assurances for three consecutive years Ojha failed to his promise and didn’t return the amount taken and misappropriated the money. Several other medical aspirants have also been cheated by the accused. Further investigation in the case is continuing,” said a police official.
