​​​​​​​Bhubaneswar, February 12: Odisha’s Electronics and Information Technology (E&IT) Minister, Mukesh Mahaling, stated on Thursday that the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar is actively progressing toward establishing itself as a major "semiconductor hub."

Addressing the gathering during the 18th Foundation Day celebrations of the esteemed institution, the minister highlighted the institute’s pivotal role in cutting-edge research, innovation, and collaboration with industry.

"IIT Bhubaneswar is deeply engaged in advanced research and the exchange of ideas with the industry, and it is firmly moving toward becoming a Power Semiconductor Hub," Mahaling emphasized.
