Anandpur, Mar 6: A tragic incident occurred at Badadanda Sahi in Anandpur on Friday when a house caught fire, resulting in the death of a youth identified as Debendra Mishra.

According to family sources, Debendra had consumed alcohol the previous night and returned home late. Shortly after reaching his residence, where he lived in alone, the house suddenly caught fire. Relatives, noticing the flames, immediately informed the Fire Service personnel.

The fire department rushed to the spot, but despite their efforts, Debendra could not be rescued. Family members said Debendra had a habit of drinking locally brewed alcohol, and they suspect that the fire may have started due to negligence while consuming alcohol inside the house.

Anandpur police have reached the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the fire.
