Hyderabad, Nov 23: Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga has officially begun production on his highly anticipated film Spirit, starring Prabhas in the lead role.

The makers announced the commencement of the shoot on Sunday, sharing images from the film’s muhurat ceremony. Among those present was megastar Chiranjeevi, who attended as the chief guest and extended his best wishes to the team.

The ritual launch was attended by Triptii Dimri, producer Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, and Shiv Chanana, along with Chiranjeevi. Although Prabhas participated in the puja, he did not appear in the photos released by the team.

Spirit marks the first-ever collaboration between Vanga and Prabhas—a pairing that has generated tremendous excitement. The buzz intensified in October when Vanga unveiled a unique birthday gift for Prabhas: a “Sound Story,” an audio-driven teaser offering an early taste of the film’s mood and intensity.

Backed by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit is envisioned as a grand, global-scale action drama. Prabhas will step into the role of a powerful, no-nonsense police officer, while Triptii Dimri features in a significant supporting role, further heightening anticipation for the project.
