Bhubaneswar, Jan 15: Odisha Governor Dr. Kambhampati Hari Babu brought festive cheer to children visiting the Lok Bhavan Garden in Bhubaneswar, as part of the Makar Sankranti celebrations. The Governor engaged warmly with the children, distributing sweets, chocolates, and pens, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and excitement.

The children explored the beautifully landscaped Lok Bhavan Garden, which also houses the newly developed ‘Atal Van’ within the Lok Bhavan premises. Dr. Hari Babu expressed his delight at meeting the children and witnessing their enthusiasm while enjoying the lush green surroundings. He emphasized the importance of such open and natural spaces, noting that they not only provide a safe environment for children but also contribute significantly to their overall development and well-being.

The Governor also expressed his satisfaction with the growing public interest in the garden, stating that it was heartening to see people from all walks of life enjoying the serene and picturesque ambiance of the Lok Bhavan grounds.

The Lok Bhavan Gardens, open to the public from January 10 to January 20, 2026, have attracted large crowds since their inauguration. Thousands of visitors from Bhubaneswar and across the state have flocked to the site daily to enjoy the peaceful environment and natural beauty.
