Bhubaneswar, Sept 8: In another tragic incident, a young auto-rickshaw driver allegedly jumped into the Kuakhai River from the Tankapani Bridge in Bhubaneswar on Monday night.According to eyewitnesses, SThe missing youth has been identified as Sanjay Swain, a resident of Harchandi Sahi in Old Bhubaneswar.anjay arrived at the Tankapani Bridge in his auto-rickshaw at around 10 pm. He reportedly parked the vehicle on the bridge and left his mobile phone, slippers and auto-rickshaw keys behind before jumping into the river.

Soon after, locals gathered at the spot and informed the police. A team from Balianta police station, along with the Balianta Fire Services personnel, reached the location and launched a search operation.

However, Sanjay could not be traced till the latest reports.

The incident comes just two days after a delivery executive, identified as Bhavani Khatei, allegedly jumped from the same Tankapani Bridge and lost his life. The recurrence of a similar incident within two days has raised concern.
