Ganjam, April 6: In a tragic incident, a youth was brutally killed by some unidentified miscreants while sleeping at his home last night.
The deceased has been identified as Murali Badatya of Pandia village under Purushottampur police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
According to the information, On Friday night, Murali was asleep at home while his father was sleeping on the verandah. Later in the night, when Murali's father went indoors for water, he discovered his son lying in a pool of blood.
Murali was immediately rushed to nearest hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Being informed, Purushottampur police reached the spot, seized the body and started investigation into the incident.
