Cuttack, July 16: A youth hailing from Cuttack city has reportedly gone missing since last two days. Based on the clues from his bike, parked near the Zobra Maritime Museum near Mohanadi river, he is suspected to be drowned in the water.
The youth has been identified as Prshant Rout, a resident of the Chhatra Bazzar area.
Sources said, Rout has remained missing from the Monday morning. Following a frantic search, as he did not turn up till late at night family members had lodged a missing report with the police.
Meanwhile, during investigation police spotted Rout’s bike and shoes near the Zobra Maritime Museum and suspected it a case of drowning. Accordingly, a search operaton was initiated with the help of the ODRAF contingent.
Search operation is underway. No clues regarding the missing person by 9 AM, said the police.
