Keonjhar, 18 Nov: Havoc wrecked in Keonjhar district’s Banspal block as more than four thousand women rampaged and demolished a government approved foreign liquor off shop in Hatapada on Thursday. The women under the aegis of an anti-alcohol social outfit organised by Banspal ‘Bhuyan Samaj’ barged into the liquor shop and damaged its stocks. Earlier this week, the women of the same organisation had shut down a country liquor shop located at the weekly market of Hatapada.Subsequently, they urged to close the shop for good. However, the vendee sold out beverages despite public annoyance. Aggrieved over it irate women took law into their hand and incurred massive destruction. On the other hand, no police complaint has been lodged in this connection.
