Bhubaneswar, March 3: A 30-year-old woman was arrested on Monday for allegedly murdering her husband and burying his body behind their house in Jajpur district, Odisha, police informed.

The woman, identified as Dumari Munda from Dubikhal village, turned herself in at the Sukinda police station. She confessed to striking her husband, Babuli Munda (36), with a wooden rod, which led to his death on the night of February 27.

Dumari Munda and Babuli, a native of Balasore district, had been married for seven years. The couple had been living at Dumari’s parental home in Dubikhal village since their marriage.
