Khordha, Jan 1: In a heart-wrenching incident, a woman tragically hanged herself just two days after her husband's demise in the aftermath of an explosion at Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Suna Samantaray, wife of Dillip Samantaray of Bang village under Khordha’s Jatni.
According to the report, Dillip sustained severe injuries during out-door AC gas filling. Three staff of the hospital including Dillip sustained severe injuries following the mishap. However, Dillip succumbed to his injuries later.
Suna, who was married for only two years, was under severe stress after the death of Dillip. However, unable to bear the grief, she reportedly hanged herself in her room at her parent’s house on Monday.
Being informed, police reached the spot, seized the body and started a probe into the incident.
