Bhubaneswar, Nov 20: The winter session of Odisha Assembly will begin from Tuesday and continue till December 30.
Opposition BJP and Congress are gettimng ready to corner the government on a range of issues like farmers suicide, law and order situation in the state, use of BJD party symbol in Mo Odisha Naveen Odisha scheme.
The BJP is going to hold a legislature party meet at 4 pm today at the state party headquarters in this regard.
Similarly, Congress legislature party meet will be held at 11 am on Tuesday.
Speaker Pramila Mallik has convened an all-party meeting today where she is likely to urge Opposition members to allow the House to function smoothly to discuss important issues of the state.
Notably, most part of the last two sessions of the Assembly were washed out due to Opposition protest on several matters.
