Jajpur, Aug 25: In an unfortunate incident, two laborers were electrocuted to death while they were being engaged in a fabrication work in Odisha’s Jajpur district.
The deceased duo has been identified as Rejabul Sekh and Indrajeet Mandal of Malda area of West Bengal.
According to the information, Sekh and Mandal were engaged in a construction project under one Krishna builder. While cutting rods with a cutting machine, the duo electrocuted as the machine was connected to electricity.
They were rushed to Jajpur Road Hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead.
Being informed, Jajpur police reached the spot, sent the bodies for autopsy and started investigation into the incident.
